Client Service Representative

Client Service Representative Wanted

Busy veterinary clinic looking for full-time client service representative to handle front desk and work with our team to provide excellent customer service and quality care to companion animals. Veterinary office experience preferred. Must be reliable and responsible, able to multitask, and communicate well with clients, in person and on the phone. Responsible for data input onto our veterinary software, scheduling and confirming appointments, client communications including be email and fax, invoicing, collecting payments and more. Full-time schedule is usually 4 to 4 ½ weekdays per week and 2 Saturdays per month. Please submit letter and resume to careers@schoharievalleyvet.com

Salary: $16.00-$18.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Licensed Veterinary Technician Wanted

Schoharie Valley Veterinary Clinic, PC is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician in Schoharie NY. We are a two-doctor practice again, and we are looking to expand our team. Special interests such as dental radiology, ultrasonography and fear free encouraged.

 

Job Description:

The Licensed Veterinary Technician will be responsible for assisting the practice with a wide variety of tasks. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff and clients.
  • Proficiency in venipuncture, iv catheter placement and administering treatments and medications.
  • Perform technician visits and treatments.
  • Help administer and monitor anesthesia, help perform surgeries and procedures as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Perform dental X-rays and ultrasonic cleaning of teeth during a dentistry.
  • Proficiency in taking various X-ray images.
  • Proficiency or interest in learning ultrasound a plus.
  • Maintaining and operating in-house laboratory machines.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies within the practice.
  • Help with emergency cases as needed.
  • Assist with front desk duties as needed.

Expected hours per week:

  • 35-40 hours for full-time
  • Part-time under 30 hours per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • 10 hour shift

Pay range: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Requirements:

Must be a licensed veterinary technician registered and in good standing in New York State.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks to complete at once with deadlines.

Must be comfortable working with animals (cats, dogs, etc.) and the occasional small ruminant. Must be comfortable handling finances (Cash, checks and credit cards) an handling medical records (including HIPAA)

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications listed above.
